Join Dr. Luciana Silva, ND, and Dr. Sarah Jeffrey, ND of Aya Naturopathic Medicine for an interactive, taste-forward workshop all about gut health here at the brewery on Wednesday, January 28th at 6pm.
This hands-on class blends science, food, and fun. Guests will learn how digestion really works through short teaching segments, live demos, and guided tastings that include some of our very own fermented foods. Plus, attendees will get to enjoy a special gut-friendly dish created just for the event.
We’ll explore three essential pillars of gut health:
1. Support Stomach Acid
Learn simple ways to prime digestion and why stomach acid is the “gatekeeper” of nutrient absorption.
2. Maximize Microbial Diversity
Sample colorful plants, fiber-rich foods, and fermented favorites while discovering how they feed and diversify the gut microbiome.
3. Strengthen the Gut Lining
Taste soothing, nutrient-rich foods (like bone broth and marshmallow root) that help support and protect the intestinal barrier.
The evening wraps with a hands-on activity where each attendee crafts their own “gut-friendly day,” plus time for Q&A.
Come ready to taste, learn, and enjoy an evening of delicious, gut-loving food at Throwback Brewery. Reserve your free spot today!
