4/24: Science Café on Insects: Get Ready to Bug Out!

Get ready to buzz on over to Throwback Brewery on Thursday, April 24th at 7pm for our very first Insect Science Cafe! Join award-winning science communicator Jace Porter from the Global Entomology Coalition as he takes you on a wild, winged journey into the incredible world of insects. From creepy crawlies with superpowers to jaw-dropping insect lifecycles, Jace is known to fascinate participants with all sorts of fun facts about a bug’s life.

This isn't just your average science talk – you can ant-icipate an interactive discussion where you’ll have the chance to ask questions and get involved. Jace will kick things off with a 15-minute overview, followed by a Q&A session. Stick around till the end for a quick trivia section with a few bug-related prizes. So, grab a brew, grab a bite, and get ready to crawl into the fascinating world of insects. 

This event will run from 7 to 8:30pm. The room will open at 4pm for those wanting to grab some food before. Kitchen closes at 8 and the last call is at 8pm as well.
